FLOWERS: Small morning-glory flowers are pale blue, violet or all white.

PERENNIAL: Base of the plant my be woody, but the remainder consists of slender herbaceous stems up to 15 cm tall with no or minimal twining.

LEAVES: The lance-shaped leaves are sparsely pubescent.

RANGE: In Arizona this plant is found at mid elevations on rocky slopes, or flat areas between trees and shrubs, from southeastern Arizona and along the Mogollon Rim.

FRUIT: A dry capsule with, usually, four seeds.
