n. of Wickenberg, Yavapai Co., Arizona. |
Northwest of Wickenberg, Arizona, the Sonoran Desert meets the Mojave Desert. Here there are elements of both deserts growing together. Like Joshua Trees growing nearby to Saguaro cactus. These tree-sized lilies are unmistakeable, with clumps of large dagger-like leaves at branch ends and large panicles of white flowers appearing in late spring. Family: AgavaceaeMore Information: |
