|  This photo was taken in an urban landscape setting, Phoenix, Arizona | This plant, which can be found naturally in just a few moist canyons within the Sonoran Desert, has been extensively planted as an ornamental shrub in Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas. With water and fertilizer plants often reach two to three meters in height and produce many flowers through the seasons.
