VINE: Weakly twinning vine sometimes scrambling up and over shrubs reaching several meters in length. Occasionally growing as a half-meter tall, stand-alone, hemispheric shrub.

FLOWERS: Pale white or cream tinged with pink. In flower, this is a showy, attractive plant. Blooms late spring (May) through Oct.

LEAVES: Leaves are alternate on stems and have a pair of narrow lobes near base.

RANGE: Fairly common in the Interior Chaparral habitats of Arizona and just barely ranging to lower elevations in Upland Sonoran Desert.

FRUIT: Dry four-seeded capsules subtended by enlarged sepals.

UNARMED.
